This journey actually began at the intersection of construction's needs and the power of technology. After a freelance period spent on CAD software and 3D drawing modeling, followed by brief on-site experience, I worked for many years as a procurement professional. I decided to solve the networking and partner-matching challenges I observed in the industry using the advantages of the digital world. I founded inSuppliers to transform construction's traditional, scattered reference structure into a smart, technology-based matching ecosystem. At inSuppliers, we offer the traditional industry a modern, technological solution as a hybrid.
As a procurement professional in the construction industry, I worked in the central purchasing departments of major contracting groups on Turkey's ENR list: Dia Holding, Polimeks Holding, and GAP İnşaat / Çalık Holding. I managed contract administration, process planning, budget control, tendering, and procurement for international projects across different locations and categories.
What I realized along the way was clear: reaching the right supplier took a lot of time, references were scattered, and decision-making moved far slower than it should have due to information clutter. Suppliers, in turn, were forced into costly and inefficient ways of reaching clients.
Starting from this need, I founded inSuppliers. I also wrote "Contech: Construction Technology Companies from Turkey and Around the World" to introduce the industry to "Contech" and its stakeholders. Because partnering with industry NGOs remains a priority for me, I continue to chair the Inter-Alumni Business Network Committee of the Samsun Kolejliler İstanbul Alumni Association.
